What You'll Do
As a developer community manager, you'll lead the growth and nurturing of our community through several initiatives. You'll take the lead in recognizing vital contributors and empower them to lead within the community and help other developers on their ZEPETO journey. You'll also help build our online communities and work to define and run future programs.
This role will work closely with our developer relations, product, and marketing teams. Therefore, the ideal candidate has a wide range of skills and can speak the language of software developers, marketers, and product managers.
You will:
- Define and run developer community programs
- Identify and nurture community leaders and give them the resources to help onboard new developers with our technologies.
- Represent the developer community to the ZEPETO product, marketing, and open-source teams
Qualifications
- 5-10 years running and managing a developer community for a platform or successful game
- High-level understanding of programming languages, databases, and developer tools (e.g., you know the difference between Java and JavaScript)
- Active engagement in the game industry with a deep understanding of different gaming communities, genres, and audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to building an open, diverse, and inclusive developer community
- Experience building open-source developer communities
- Ability to define goals, measure results, and communicate the impact
- Thought leadership or participation in the community experience community
- Awareness of community management software platforms
We are disclosing the compensation for this role in compliance with local law. This range is an estimate and subject to change based on factors such as employer/market condition, evaluation metrics, hire date, the specialty of the role, and other offered benefits. In addition, NAVER Z USA provides various employee benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, fringe benefits, a 401(k) plan, and life, disability, and accident insurance.
Pay Range: $86,000 - $101,000
