About This Role:

The Investment and Partnership Department is looking for a Strategy & Game Dev Enabling Manager to support and manage game development process for ongoing projects with NetEase global studios. We are looking for a proactive and highly organized talent with strong player/developer empathy to help studio strategic plannings and provide all-around production support through strong relationships with functional resources.

The Investment and Partnership Department was founded in 2016, with a goal to unleash the potential of talented creators and developers from all over the world while incubating the company‘s first-party studios. The department has invested in and partners with some of the industry’s biggest names including Quantic Dream, Niantic, Bungie, Behaviour Interactive etc.

Responsibilities

• Work with C-suite leadership and studio management to help build up the game development capability and capacity; understand and establish the complete game development plans, including financial and resources management.
• Drive strategy planning initiatives with stakeholders across multiple game dev functions in the organization to solve problems, balance priorities, and find creative solutions to achieve results.
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives to improve the organizational structures, processes, and practices of the teams to ensure efficiency.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in game production management, corporate strategy, project management or professional service firms(consulting, investment banking, venture capital, etc.)
• Gamer with strong empathy on game players and developers

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to identify a complex web of relationships to solve problems and opportunities.
• Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive, self-starter attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to support multiple projects.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin is a plus but not required.
