The role of our BD Manager - Web3 Gaming is to lead business growth across key Web3 gaming opportunities in the market. Immutable’s future growth engine will be largely dependent on your ability to leverage a Web3 network and create successful relationships with top tier Web3 gaming partners/opportunities, communities, and projects. Ideally, you are bringing great BD and extensive web3 gaming experience.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to engage in both business and technical conversations, ideally with deep understanding in web3 gaming, scalable blockchain technology, and NFT concepts. You will have the chance to work closely with execs and founding teams as you are living in the Discords and communities for web3 gaming projects, DAOs, launchpads, and others. You'll bring a warm ready network of games looking to deploy their projects on a leading protocol.

 

This is a mid/Senior-level role and reports to the Head of Gaming BD.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Help our Web3 partners understand how Immutable is the leading solution to drive their business goals
• Learn and build best practices and trends in the web3 games industry
• Build deep industry connections across multiple functions, ranging from executives at more established companies to the founding team at the latest web3 game developers and ecosystem startups
• Cultivate an analytical mindset that understands how to ruthlessly prioritize opportunities to identify top partners for Immutable
• Design the right solution together with Sales Engineering and craft compelling pitch narratives to get leading games on board
• Own and be fully accountable for how many of your partners launch their projects on Immutable X, working with cross-functional teams to make this happen
• Develop strategic plans for your target accounts and identify required supporting resources - you are the master of your destiny
• Research and stay abreast of all new NFT/crypto projects and trends

We would love you to have:

• 2 - 4 years in gaming or web3 industry in Corp Dev, BD/Partnerships, or Strategy roles
• A track record of top performance in a targeted role
• Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
• Comfort operating in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
• Ability to take accountability for achieving metrics
• Industry insider knowledge and currently either at a web3 of gaming company

Some extra skills that would be awesome:

• Experience selling a technical product a huge plus
• Worked for a leading blockchain / crypto project, and demonstrate deep domain knowledge and expertise
• A ready pipeline of customers looking to embrace the jump to web3
