Role

We’re looking for a passionate Crypto Analyst to join our team. You will be working closely with our founders and product team to help us create an open and fair create-to-earn economy built on web3. In your role you will deep dive into the world of gaming NFTs, tokenomics, and blockchain-based games.

We’re a small and talented team where every team member has a lot of responsibility and can influence both the product (what we do) and culture (how we do it). 

You will own and educate the team on web3 market trends, crypto products and blockchain-based games.

What you’ll do

• Create market maps of different segments within the web3 games ecosystem.
• Experiment, document, and share learnings on your user experience with web3 games and metaverse platforms.
• Provide insights for Soba’s upcoming web3 features, including token and NFT designs. This includes analyzing user data and tokenomics of today’s crypto games.
• Run interviews with players, creators and experts within the space.
• With growing experience, you will take over more responsibilities for projects and work closely with our founders. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Fundamental knowledge of blockchains and how gaming can drive mass market adoption for crypto.
• Demonstrated passion for crypto 
• You are an analytical mind that is driven to understand the details of how web3 economics for a platform like ours could work.
• You set a high standard for yourself and others in the team.
• You are a self-starter that can take on their own projects and is great at getting things done.
• You have strong communication and presentation skills. You’ll be expected to clearly communicate insights to leadership, product, and other teams.
• You understand the big picture but are not afraid to go to the details.

Qualifications

• Experience using crypto products and good understanding of today’s challenges within the space.
• Experience conducting research and creating market maps.
• Passionate about games and crypto

Other details

We’re open for both remote and on location (Berlin) applicants. We have a flexible work-from-home policy. For remote applicants being able to visit Berlin regularly is a plus.
