Love of Community is an essential pillar at BebopBee. As a Social Media & Community Manager, you will be a pivotal member of the team and get involved in a wide variety of activities and projects - all focused on creating the best experience for our players outside of the game and connecting them closer to what is happening within the game. You will own the content strategy and be the most direct link between the community and the internal team. 

If you have a creative way of thinking and of presenting our brand through multiple media channels, we would love to have you as part of our team. You will add experience, fun, direction, joy, and performance to the Community pillar of the company.

What you will do

  • Be the strongest champion of the Community - by executing proactive player outreach, building and nurturing relationships, and compiling community feedback across social and media channels. 
  • Help explore what we can do uniquely and creatively, given the digital-dollhouse of opportunities our game provides with travel theme, mass market genre, worldwide art appeal and theme’s real-world association via Tripstagram
  • Take ownership of the Social Media Strategy -  Ideate, create, copy, write and publish exciting media content for our audience in collaboration with Artists, Animators and Content Managers. Be the Meme generator!
  • Explore external partnership opportunities with Influencers, Content Creators, Super Fans, Bloggers, Forums etc for collaborations in a brand-resonating (travel, cultural exchanges like penpals, content publishers etc.) way
  • Manage Real world Prize rewards, giveaways and promotions (like “Wonderful T-Shirts”, “Souvenir Mugs” “Magnets” etc) through in-game events and other community collaborations

What you will need:

  • A good understanding of the power of storytelling as a marketing tool and the importance of brand consistency
  • An early adopter of marketing trends and always looking to stay ahead of ever-changing social media landscape 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;  and the ability to interact with a range of individuals
  • Experience in creating community content and hands-on using existing assets, e.g. social media posts
  • Outstanding English writing skills and an excellent understanding of the North-American market and culture 

Nice to have: Comfortable being on camera or gaming publications
