About Coda Publisher Partnerships 
Coda’s Publisher Partnerships team’s mission is to ensure the success of Coda by committing ourselves to the success of our digital content and service partners.  This global team of business development professionals partners with the world’s leading publishers and app developers to leverage Coda solutions to execute situationally dependent strategies that connect partner supply (digital content and services) to global consumer demand and measurably drive partner revenue and margin growth.   
 
About This Role
Given the importance of the Americas within the global gaming and app development industry, Coda’s Managing Director, Publisher Partnerships - Americas, is one of the most critical roles in the organization.  As a senior Publisher Partnerships team member in the Americas, this leader will not only be charged with ensuring the acquisition and sustained growth of our most critical publisher relationships but will also be responsible for building a high-functioning team centered around a culture of execution and relationship management excellence where each team member can flourish and reach their highest professional potential.  

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and grow the Publisher Partnerships team responsible for partnerships with digital-content publishers in the Americas.  
  • Develop a deep understanding of market trends, monetization strategies, and technologies to identify new partnership opportunities and syndicate this knowledge to the larger Coda team.
  • Drive Coda’s overall plan for establishing, growing, and maintaining digital content publisher partnerships, including developing and syndicating Americas-specific GTM strategies and tactics.
  • Own the global commercial relationship for select key accounts and partner with local Account Directors, Account Managers, and other team members to ensure successful engagement across Coda’s entire Americas partner set.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, product, engineering, and legal teams to assist with cross-selling opportunities for both new and existing partners.
  • Lead the development of sales pitches and presentations to key external decision-makers and prospects while coaching the team on successful pitching and deal negotiation strategies.  
  • Set up objectives and key results for Coda’s Publisher Partnerships team in the Americas and consistently report team progress, blockers, and resource needs to senior leadership. 

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years in sales or business development leadership roles; knowledge of gaming, e-commerce, and the mobile app industries is preferred.
  • Experience enabling a professional sales organization within a SaaS or a similar company.
  • A strong track record of leading teams to high effectiveness, with a keen ability to manage both high-performing and underperforming talent.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and eager to contribute to a high-growth business.
  • Competent and experienced in business development, marketing, regulatory and legal aspects, product development, and finance.
  • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated.
  • Excellent presentation and leadership skills.
